MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Vietnam War Memorial Initiative (VWMI) was to purchase and place a permanent memorial to former Augusta and Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) Vietnam Military Service Members, living and deceased, in downtown Augusta, Georgia that honors the service and sacrifice of these American heroes. Our expanded mission is to now care for and maintain this permanent tribute.
