The Vietnam War Memorial Initiative (VWMI) is a project of the Military Order of the World Wars, Augusta Chapter, which is 501(c)(19) organization.

The VWMI Steering Committee is a multi-organizational committee made up of 18 non-profit patriotic community service organizations serving in a cooperative partnership to establish a permanent Vietnam War Veterans Memorial in downtown Augusta, Georgia.

All contributions of $100 or more are recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation held by an embossed Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) certificate jacket. 

Gold Foil Certificate of Appreciation with Ebony Frame

All contributions of $500 or more are recognized with an ebony framed, gold foil Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) Certificate of Appreciation. 

Listing on Brass Memorial Recognition Plaque

Platinum Star Donors, Platinum Star Business Sponsors, Corporate National Colors Sponsors, and Corporate Memorial Sponsors will be identified on the monument’s brass recognition plaque.

Corporate National Colors Sponsor

Corporate National Colors Sponsors will be identified on the monument’s brass recognition plaque and will receive a National Flag flown over Arlington Cemetery, encased in an engraved mahogany and glass display case, and framed certificate of authenticity.

Corporate Memorial Sponsor

Corporate Memorial Sponsors will be identified on the monument’s brass recognition plaque and will receive a laser etched granite plaque depicting the completed CSRA Vietnam War Veterans Memorial, their corporation’s name and logo, and inscription of appreciation from the Augusta-CSRA Vietnam War Memorial Initiative, on behalf of the Central Savannah River Area’s 15,000 (+) living Vietnam Veterans, for making this memorial possible.
